Air & Gas Technologies was established on May 31, 1995 for the purpose of developing a Compressed Natural Gas infrastructure as a safe and reliable domestic Alternative Fuel Vehicle choice. Over the past 10 years the Company has designed, constructed and continues to maintain over 80 full scale CNG refueling stations throughout the NY/CT/NJ & PA markets.

As CNG requires in-depth knowledge of high pressure compressor technology, the Company has earned a solid reputation in other high pressure compressor markets such as Hydrogen, Nitrogen, Helium, Oxygen, Bio Gas, Industrial Air and most notably Breathing Air for the Fire & Safety industry. AGT's solid foundation in the Fire Industry is well deserved.

As the Bauer Compressor representative for NY & NJ, the company has made the Bauer Top 10 distinguished distributor award for each of the past 10 years. This award is given to the 10 highest sales leaders in the country and AGT is consistently ranked in the top 5. This specialized equipment is supported by the Company's' employees who are Fire Fighters and who demonstrate the highest regard for the fire service and the brotherhood it stands for. It is the most fundamental professional duty we stand for to protect the departments who trust our service and equipment for their personal safety.

In 2003 Interspiro became the newest manufacturer to be represented by AGT. Although other SCBA companies have asked the Company to be its distributor, no other company demonstrated the innovation, serviceability, and personal commitment to it's customers than did Interspiro. It sees the household name brands have become only a cash cow to their Corporate owners and stock holders and have they have lost touch with the basic need expected from the Fire Industry: local service and support.

New orders resulting from FEMA funding has created a feeding frenzy and the service concern is secondary to a new sale. AGT's philosophy has always been "sales through service not in spite of service".
